History of Cantonment Burgwin.

Visitors to the Burgwin campus recognized the unique arrangements of buildings in which  many courses are offered in January, May, June and August terms.. Many of the buildings have been reconstructed matching the original buildings of the army post built in 1852 and left in 1860. Dr. Ubelaker will meet you at noon by the entrance for lunch (bring a sack lunch) and then he will review the history of the site by a walk through tour of the buildings and discussion of the events that took place there when occupied by the group of soldiers known as the dragoons. The site has important historic features that will be discussed.
