As you might remember, through a generous gift from Shirley & George Shepherd and the extraordinary effort by Taos librarian, Dorothy Kethler, a very valuable and interesting archaeological collection now resides at the Taos Public Library.

This wonderful collection is rare, valuable, and of keen interest to anyone who wants to know more about the archaeological history of the Taos Valley, as well as sites in southern France, Egypt and Africa.  Everything is currently stored in boxes at the Public Library, with no space available for sorting, categorizing, etc.

The collection needs to be sorted by relevance and categorized based on the Library's standards.

A number of TAS members will be working on this project during this week.  If you're intereded in joining in the fun, please contact Gary Grief at 751-3265 or harleygrief@TaosNet.com
